Danny Pavlov, Mr Piccolo café owner and barista extraordinaire at Footscray Plaza, knows how to make a coffee that will be “consistent every time” and a café that becomes part of the local community fabric. He opened Mr Piccolo last November after having successfully started, owned and operated several cafes in Richmond and in the inner-north during the last 12 years.

As for the secret to Mr Piccolo’s amazing coffee, “I source slow roasted beans every week from Brunswick roasters, Antico,” said Danny. “We share a passion for Italian coffee tradition and what we do.” As well as offering the full gamut of coffees there’s also decaffeinated coffee, tea, Chai latte, milk shakes, iced coffee, iced chocolate, thickshakes and a full juice bar. “The mixed tropical juice made with the best fruits of the season, is a Mr Piccolo signature item,” he said.
